Nearest Station
A 15 minute walk from Hongo-sanchome Station(Subway Marunouchi Line or Oedo Line).
A 13 minute walk from Nezu Station(Subway Chiyoda Line).
A 12 minute walk from Todaimae Station(Subway Namboku Line).

By 学Bus
From Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station(JR Yamanote Line and other lines)
Take 学01 bound for the University of Tokyo
→ get off at Todai-Konai bus stops

Fom Ochanomizu Station(JR Chuo Line, JR Sobu Line)
Take 学07 bound for the University of Tokyo
→ get off at Todai-Konai bus stops.

About Vehicle Entry

In order to maintain the educational and research environment on the university campus, as a general rule, entry by automatic car is not permitted.
Please use the “Same-day Permit” issued at each gate and use the “General Parking Lot” indicated on the “Hongo Campus Parking Lot Layout”.

If you are working for a short period of time, it is possible to park temporarily around the Faculty of Science building, but please note that there are few parking spaces around Building No. 1 and there are many entrances and exits, so depending on the situation on the day, you may be asked to park in a more remote area. (We do not accept reservations for parking spaces.)

For the reasons stated above, the Science Department will notify students of vehicles over 4 tons (or multiple vehicles under 4 tons) by submitting a “Large Vehicle Entry Notification Form“.
